WHEN TO THINK ABOUT FLYING PRIVATE

5 Reasons For Your Consideration.

When To Think About Flying Private.

1. You have a large group of important people: The more people that need to go somewhere, the more it will make financial sense to fly private. If you take a group of 8 extremely well-paid employees, who would usually fly first class, the time saved flying private can justify the cost difference alone. Not to mention, flying private boosts productivity. These employees can work in total privacy whereas if you’re in first class on a commercial flight, you have no clue who is next to you listening.

2. You are in need of a multi-stop itinerary: If you have a group that needs to be to and from multiple locations within a short period of time, going private makes sense with time, hotel accommodations, and food.

3. You will be using a frequently discounted route: At Vincent Jets, as with any carrier, certain routes cost less than others. If you are flying from Teterboro Airport to West Palm Beach or from Santa Monica to San Jose, for example, your flight provider will get you the best deal they can.

4. You fly routes that commercial planes don’t offer: Hauling your family or company from Santa Barbara to Orange County for a trip by car or bus can be a hassle – while commercial airlines don’t typically make this route, a charter company like Vincent Jets does.

5. You’ll be facing inclement weather: When you have an important meeting or family emergency, a private plane can often fly around, over, or under nasty weather, while local storms will ground commercial aircraft.

TIPS FOR FLYING PRIVATE WITH FAMILY PAWSENGERS

Vincent Jets is a pet-friendly private jet company, and If you are planning to fly with a pet the team at Vincent Jets offers a few suggestions and would love to help with a few common questions you may have.

We suggest reducing the animal’s water intake 4 hours before boarding the plane to mitigate the chances of a mishap; be sure it gets lots of exercise on the day of the flight so that it will be less restless if not relaxed, and bring along the animal’s favorite toy or blanket to help ease the stress of flying.

The United States Department of Agriculture, which regulates air transportation of pets within the United States, requires that to fly in a plane—commercial or private—an animal must be at least 8 weeks old and in good health. Depending on your destination, you may need additional paperwork for international travel.

Every day Is Flyday at Vincent Jets, so let us answer any common questions you may have…

Do pets fly in the main cabin along with passengers?

Yes – your pet will be right in the passenger area with you.

Do pets need to stay in kennels/cages while in flight?

Dogs and cats can be loose in the cabin.  Birds, reptiles, etc are handled on a case-by-case basis.

Are there size/breed restrictions for dogs on private jets?

There are no size restrictions, but for bigger dogs, a larger aircraft is often recommended for their comfort.

Can you provide food for my dog/cat or do I need to bring my own?

It’s up to you – we can arrange for any kind of food on the aircraft or you can bring your own.

We are animal lovers to the core at Vincent Jets and we are proud to provide a fantastic experience.  Pets are part of the family, and they receive royal treatment on every Vincent Jets charter flight!

GOING THE EXTRA MILE

Going The Extra Mile; Covid Clear

With the health and safety aspect of life now making more flyers willing to pay the extra cost to fly private as opposed to first-class on commercial, Vincent Jets is looking forward to making every day fly day as comfortable and safe as we can for our clients.

Businesses frequently use private aircraft as tools to transport executives quickly between locations and meetings, or for other needs that airlines can’t satisfy, whether it be the convenience of not depending on airline schedules, the luxury of flying in a private plane, or even just the privacy compared to a packed airline. But the high cost of chartering an entire aircraft has turned away even those with the means to do so for family, including the low-key travelers among the jet-set class who don’t blink twice before booking a first-class seat but draw the line at private charter. It’s that decision between first-class and private charter that will now be up for grabs more so than before as the health and safety factor is expected to weigh heavily in the decision to fly.

Much like the airlines, private jet firms have been investing in new cleaning procedures including spraying disinfectants and applying antimicrobial coatings. The new measures combined with a controlled cabin environment that exists in private aviation may offer enough peace of mind to make the jump seem more practical. Finding it important for everyone to create next-level best practices in terms of health and safety.

The industry is investing in new cleaning and safety methods to ensure that travelers are protected when flying and encourage more individuals and businesses to make the leap to private. Some are now offering a new product, called “COVID-19 Cleared,” which aligns the efforts of the operator with vendors to ensure that touchpoints on a passenger’s journey from door to door are safe for contact. When passengers opt for the service, the flight team goes beyond just cleaning its plane to ensure that ground transportation vehicles are cleaned and secured with a seal until passengers arrive. Upon request before boarding their aircraft, flight crew and passengers may undergo interviews with health professionals via a virtual screening to ensure they’re fit to travel. The trend is to ensure passenger safety is expanding across the industry as both existing and potential passengers are demanding a heightened focus on health and safety.

Private jet operators are also reporting that businesses are considering opening up the purse strings for employees to travel on private planes to avoid potential exposure. Flying private already offers benefits to businesses that airlines can’t including the ability to reach remote airports and on-demand service not dependent on fixed flight times.

Bigger budgets are being made available to safeguard their employees from the risk of much bigger spaces with more people. New aircraft are also debuting nearly every year that will allow businesses and private individuals to fly more people further without having to stop, maximizing the benefit of the aircraft. For example, one company recently took delivery of a new ultra-long-range aircraft, the Bombardier Global 7500, which can fly routes of up to 7,700 nautical miles.

If you would like to understand how our operation works and how we make sure that we can safeguard your friends, family, and employees please contact us at info@vincentjets.com.

EAT WELL. TRAVEL OFTEN

Eat Well. Travel Often.

Why do so many pilots carry a bottle of Tabasco sauce in their flight bags? They are probably anticipating that the food served aboard the plane is going to taste bland. But the food is not the problem; it’s the circumstances. The high altitude, low humidity, reduced air pressure, recirculated air, engine and wind noise, and the overall oddity of sitting in a tube that’s 40,000 feet in the air can affect the way we perceive the taste of food and beverages, particularly wine.

Lower air pressure reduces your blood’s oxygen saturation, which in turn reduces the effectiveness of your smell receptors and thus some of your taste perceptions. In fact, food and wine taste like they do when you have a cold. The recirculating air in the cabin can further hinder your ability to smell the aroma of the food and the scent of the wine. All the aromatics that would be present in front of you—the fresh herbs with caramelized vegetables, for example—dissipate so rapidly. Also, consider the effect of low humidity on flavor perception. The dryness reduces the sensitivity of your taste buds, especially for sweet and salty food.

Vincent Jets loves to “wow” our guests in the air, with experiences designed around you and your custom catering and utilizing these common in-flight catering tips.

The best foods to enjoy on a private jet are those that are light and refreshing. Due to the altitude, a private jet traveler’s body will react differently than when dining on the ground. In the sky, a feeling of fullness is achieved much more quickly and sluggishness will set in if foods are too rich or heavy. To stay sharp, focused, and feeling energized on your next private jet flight; opt for light salads, fruit, eggs, low sodium soups, and natural plant-based choices.

Professional chefs stress the importance of plating and presentation on a private jet flight. Appropriate sized servings are encouraged and the idea that “less is often more” is displayed in beautifully created filet mignon dishes, carefully crafted artisanal cheese boards, and Salmon en Papillote, among other recipes. Cooking on board is one way that cabin attendants create in-flight elegance during service. A simple and elegant presentation is preferred.

Although a great resource, anytime day or night, private jet charter clients and aircraft owners are shying away from using professional catering companies. Instead, cabin attendants are asked to source food from specific restaurants or local organic markets. With the rise of on-demand delivery services and the assistance of technology— maps, driving services, and social media platforms— the necessity to use a catering company has decreased as cabin attendants become more savvy and resourceful.

To stand out as a private cabin attendant, many individuals pursue additional training and culinary certifications or search out environments that encourage learning and excellence. A large number of cabin attendants have a background serving at high-end restaurants, and many have culinary degrees or work as private chefs in addition to flying within the luxury aviation sector— which translates to a more sophisticated in-flight experience for private jet guests.

Vincent Jets strives to give our passengers a custom service based on their palette. Some clients enjoy the latest trends and hot new restaurants, while others want a great deli sandwich. For Cabin Its all about knowing what the client wants and going above and beyond their needs.

Ready when you are.

THE GAME CHANGER-PRIVATE TRAVEL. MORE FIRST TIMERS & ONE WAY TRIPS.

The Game Changer: Private Travel. More First-Timers & One Way Trips.

Private air travel is booming– flexible business, quick responses to health concerns, and the ability to allow flexible, one-way self-contained travel–many companies are seeing increases in first-time inquiries and spikes in overall sales.

On average according to Forbes, there is a 71% increase in inquiries from people who have never flown private before. Most people who used to only fly on commercial airlines are making the switch…or at least thinking about it. Commercial airlines have been canceled and/or reduced the number of flights, which increases those many appealing thoughts when it comes to private travel. Avoiding busy airports. being able to stay with your family or friends, and traveling together to a socially distanced location.

One-way travel accounted for 70% of trips made during Covid so far, now that has increased by up to 20%. If not sure about a return people may increasingly want the flexibility of not having to decide when they will come back–many don’t know when they will have to go back to school or back into the office. People are also booking in a much shorter time frame; within three days from the start of the trip, which wasn’t the case before, and private jet companies like Vincent Jets are happy to welcome this flexibility with open arms.

Outside of new destinations, clients are moving to and from second homes and many are “very focused on exploring North America” with Utah, Montana, and Colorado high on the list–places that are more remote and mountainous. If they are traveling abroad, it’s to the Caribbean beach destinations. Finally, people are seeking to fly privately, because they are able to access airports that they weren’t able to travel to get to commercially. Clearly, there are advantages too, in that private aircraft flights are often smaller and can access private airfields which commercial planes cannot, meaning all new access to different places in shorter time periods, such as mountainous areas, or places with shorter runways and better access to sought-after places.

Private air travel has been in a position to respond well to health, personal space, and hygiene concerns. With new health and safety protocols introduced to serve their fleet, which includes rigorous aircraft decontamination before and after each flight as well as an additional preventative aircraft interior treatment with an antimicrobial barrier, private jet partnerships are working together to help people stay stress-free and at ease. Many have been able to afford to fly privately, but they weren’t. Now they are discovering the safety aspect, and it’s a complete game-changer.

CATCH US ON OUR SHELL: 5 REASONS TO GO TO TURKS & CAICOS

The Turks & Caicos Islands have the perfect antidote for your hectic lifestyle: nearly abandoned, blindingly white sand fringed by shimmering azure water, colorful coral reefs, crispy conch fritters, and a sleepy, lighthearted atmosphere. Turks & Caicos holds tight to its reputation as an exclusive and secluded getaway. And regular vacationers to these skinny strips of alabaster sand will tell you that they wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s no secret that the Turks and Caicos Islands constantly make the list for articles like “best travel destinations” “best beaches,” or “top Caribbean getaway.” The beautiful beaches, awesome dive sites, and luxury resorts make the Turks and Caicos a top contender for any of these lists.

However, just because the Turks and Caicos are already on many people’s bucket lists, it still holds a few secrets that not every travel or beach enthusiast will know.

Here are 5 best-kept secrets about the Turks and Caicos Islands that will make you want to bump them up on the priority of places you want to visit.

#1 : Premier Kitesurfing Destination

The Turks and Caicos Islands have some of the best conditions on Earth for kitesurfing. Because of the unique island formations, the waters along and around the shore are generally calm and serene. And because the shore is so shallow, you can actually keep your feet on the sand as you wallow dozens of meters from the beach. But it’s not all about the water. The Caribbeans are perfectly situated in the middle of strong and—more importantly—constant tradewinds. When the season is right (Usually November through May) and the breeze picks up, it’s consistent and more predictable than most winds.

 #2: Ecological Wonder

The Turks and Caicos Islands are a biodiversity hotspot. The variety includes a number of lizards snakes, insects, plants, and marine species found nowhere else on the planet. In addition to the unique native species, the islands are also a crucial breeding area for countless seabirds, and the surrounding seas are an important water highway for humpback whales. There are many special eco-tours that take you out to mangrove channels and national parks to see delicate ecosystems that support the nesting birds. The guides accompanying these tours are informative and certified to ensure that all safety precautions are taken. Guides will point out turtles, sharks, stingrays, and any other sea animal that pass by.

#3 Beautiful Dive Sites

Much of the Turks and Caicos biodiversity can only be found in and beneath the waves as it is also home to one of the larger barrier reefs on the planet. While snorkeling and diving enthusiasts may already know this, much of the general population of visitors who come to the island usually aren’t aware of this “known secret.” Because the beaches and resorts are so beautiful, it’s so easy to forget the wonders of life under the sea. There are countless great sites to explore, and you should choose them based on your experience, skill, and whether you snorkel or SCUBA dive

#4 You Might Run Into Your Favorite Celebrity

It’s no secret that the Turks and Caicos are popular. However, some of the visitors and vacations may wish it wasn’t! As a popular getaway for many celebrities, some of whom, actually have vacation homes built here.

 #5 Interesting History

The Turks and Caicos have a rich history that many history buffs will appreciate. While the sun is always shining and the beaches are always beautiful, it wasn’t always paradise. The arrival of Europeans in the 1500s sparked the decline and eventual extinction of the aboriginal people and culture. Then came Bermudian salt collectors who settled the Turks Islands around 1680. For several decades around the turn of the 18th century, the islands became popular pirate hideouts. The Turks and Caicos Islands also had a strong U.S. presence. From 1950 to 1981, the United States had a missile tracking station on Grand Turk island. In the early days of the American space program, NASA used it. After his three earth orbits in 1962, American astronaut John Glenn successfully landed in the nearby ocean and was brought back ashore to Grand Turk island.

The Secret Is Out—Book Your Trip Today!

Maureen McElgunn & Carmen Reiss, Vincent Jets flight “family” recently came back raving about their Caribbean voyage. “…the island was open and empty! I was only home for 30 minutes before I booked my next trip 6 weeks later in December. The island is whimsical and it exudes luxury, seclusion, sexiness, and romance. It was love at first sight, and I can’t wait to get back on island time” McElgunn says.

Turks and Caicos excursions are very popular and spots fill up fast but your flight team at Vincent Jets is ready to make it happen. It’s important that you book early so you can secure your favorite activities, visit www.vincentjets.com today to inquire further about your 2021-2022 winter vacation!
